Aquinas and Philosophy
When analyzing the differences between Aquinas and Augustine, it begins to reveal many differences that show that not only do they share similar traits, but that also relate well to Aristotle and Plato as well. Aquinas was an important philosopher because he believed in a similar philosophy of religion, belief, and God. With these chosen topics, it helps them discover the truth behind reason, and to find the knowledge that lurks in our surroundings. I think it's fascinating that these philosophers believed in many of the same ideas that Plato and Aristotle used in their time. It's critical to understand the time gaps between these people was revolutionizing, and that each philosopher seemed to build upon each other's idea of beauty and religion.
