Mosh Pits

One of the student’s presentations
on punk shows and dancing really stood out to me because of an article I read
years ago. I found it interesting that he made that parallel as most fans of
these shows actually have set choreography for the Mosh Pit. This dance is
called The Pogo. To the outside eye the movements in the mosh pit look out of
order and at times chaotic but it is interesting to see there is in fact a type
of order in their movements. I don’t have much information on this topic but
found this information very interesting and the students project inspiring. The
image below is of The Pogo dance.
